While Amuseables Gingerbread House and the Star Cookies twirl in the window display, and temp Ricky Rain Frog (reluctantly tinsel-clad in his Christmas Tree costume) supervises Santa’s Grotto, she’s checking rotas and issuing polite but firm reminders about break times.
